16A, 380V, red, locked Socket, 3P+N+E, 3h ATEX II 2GD, IP 66

The ATEX switched interlocked CEE socket 16 A, IP66, 3P+N+E in a low-temperature version from the SCAME ADVANCE-GRP[GD] series is designed for secure power connections in industrial hazardous areas. It is suitable for gas and dust atmospheres and is available with different voltage ranges, identification colours and hour positions.
The dissipative glass-fibre-reinforced thermosetting enclosure reduces electrostatic risks and is corrosion-resistant. The mechanical interlock operated by a non-sparking switch-disconnector prevents connection or disconnection under load. A padlockable rotary handle, captive stainless steel screws, an extractable support and generous wiring space support safe installation and operation. The version is supplied without a fuse carrier.

Application: For industrial CEE connections in Gas Zones 1 and 2 and Dust Zones 21 and 22, particularly under demanding ambient conditions.
