The ATEX AISI 304L stainless-steel empty enclosure with screw lid and silicone gasket, IP66, from the SCAME ZENITH-S series provides a robust base for electrical equipment in industrial hazardous areas. The surface-mounted enclosures are available in 14 sizes and are suitable for Gas Zones 1 and 2 and Dust Zones 21 and 22.
The enclosure and lid are made from corrosion-resistant AISI 304L stainless steel with a glossy satin finish. Stainless-steel screws secure the lid. The silicone gasket supports the IP66 protection rating. The enclosures are ATEX/IECEx component-certified to Ex eb IIC Gb and Ex tb IIIC Db and provide 7 J impact resistance.

Application: As an enclosure base for terminal boxes, junction boxes and local control stations in hazardous production, process and industrial installations.

The ATEX empty enclosure in die-cast aluminium, IP66, from the SCAME ALUBOX-EX series is designed for building electrical applications in Gas Zone 2 and Dust Zone 22 hazardous areas. The surface-mounted enclosures are available in seven sizes.
The enclosure and cover are made from die-cast aluminium and externally painted grey RAL 7037. Stainless-steel screws secure the cover, while zinc-coated self-tapping steel screws provide earthing for the enclosure and cover. DIN-rail fixing is available. The enclosure provides IP66 protection and complies with Ex ec IIC Gc and Ex tc IIIC Dc protection types.

Application: For building terminal, control and distribution applications in industrial installations in Gas Zone 2 and Dust Zone 22.

The dissipative glass-fibre-reinforced thermosetting GRP contains carbon black to reduce the risk of electrostatic sparks. The material is resistant to corrosion and to mechanical, atmospheric and chemical influences. The screw-mounted cover is secured with captive stainless-steel screws. The black RAL 9005 enclosure provides IP66 protection and 7 J impact resistance.
