Protection rating and material

Robust protection with IP66 and IK09

The enclosure is made from halogen-free thermoplastic and reinforced with internal ribs at the most highly stressed points. The gasket system between the cover, base and door ensures an IP66 protection rating.

The door is integrated flush with the enclosure, providing better protection against lateral impacts and contributing to the high IK09 impact resistance.

Door system and accessibility

Convenient access for installation and maintenance

The completely flat tinted door features a concealed opening mechanism with automatic spring return. Reinforced hinges allow the opening direction to be reversed and provide a 180° opening angle.

The snap-fit DIN rail covers can be removed individually. This keeps installed components easily accessible without having to dismantle the complete cover.

Installation and wiring

Well-designed details for a tidy installation

Quick-pitch stainless steel screws and a removable, repositionable DIN rail frame simplify installation. An integrated spirit level supports precise alignment of the enclosure.

Integrated slots in the frame provide defined anchoring points for cable ties. The DIN rails are adjustable in depth and height, allowing non-standard modular components and additional terminal blocks to be installed.
