The SCAME OPTIMA-EX 16 A is a mobile ATEX plug for industrial connections in potentially explosive dust atmospheres. The 3P+N+E version with 6h position is rated for 346–415 V at 50/60 Hz and belongs to equipment category II 2D. Dust protection is Ex tb IIIC T90°C Db with IP66.
The thermoplastic housing is designed for demanding conditions and provides 7 J impact resistance. Nickel-plated brass contacts, screw terminals, straight cable outlet and cable gland support a secure and robust connection.
Application: For mobile power connections in dust hazardous Zones 21 and 22.
