The SCAME 590.DCGE16–40 A (1 string | 2 string) switch-disconnector is a reliable solution for safe switching and isolation of electrical circuits. It is installed in photovoltaic systems between the solar module and the inverter and enables safe DC isolation. Thanks to its compact design and robust construction, it is equally suitable as a main switch, maintenance switch or safety switch. With its high protection rating IP66/IP69 and impact resistance IK09, it ensures maximum safety even under the toughest conditions. A large wiring space provides more room and enables particularly easy and convenient wiring. The recessed XXL rotary handle with integrated status indicator ensures safe operation and a clear indication of the switching position. The handle can be locked both in the OFF position (up to three padlocks) and in the ON position (one padlock) – for maximum operational safety. The well-designed enclosure features pre-marked drilling points on the top side. Break-out cable entries on the bottom side allow for flexible installation.
